Irving, TX - PFO Global Group, a privately held innovative manufacturer of finished eyewear, today announced the expansion of its executive team in line with the Company’s continued growth leveraging technology to provide a better solution for eye care professionals. The Company appointed Tim Kinnear as Chief Financial Officer, George Moore as Executive Vice President of Information Technology, Ken Elstad as Executive Vice President of Sales, and Jeff LaPlante as Executive Vice President of Business Development.

As Chief Financial Officer, Tim will be responsible for overseeing the company’s US facilities including its Connecticut-based PFO Optima operation, which provides finished and semi-finished Resolution & Asahi lenses and logistic services, and its Irving, Texas based corporate office and technology center. Prior to joining PFO, Tim served in executive roles for United Network Service, Inc., InnerWireless, Intrusion, Inc., and Cyrix Corporation. He has extensive expertise in finance, IT, human resources, startups and publicly traded entities.
In his role as Executive Vice President of Information Technology, George Moore, will manage all aspects of information technology - enhancing capabilities to streamline processes and business intelligence efficiently. During his tenure at PFO, George and his team have implemented PFO Global’s cloud services for secure lens ordering portal that are HIPAA and PCI Compliant, ERP for streamlining accounting processes and reporting dashboards, and CRM system for tracking sales reporting for US and Global expansion.
With careers totaling over 30 years in the optical industry, both Ken Elstad and Jeff LaPlante have built up an enviable track record in sales, strategy and leadership. Ken, formerly with PECH Optical, began his career at PFO since March 2014 with a focus to expand PFO Global’s sales force throughout the US targeting premium, high quality, high volume buying groups and independent eye care providers.
Jeff joined the team in June 2014, with a broad expertise in product knowledge, business development and commercial management working with companies such as Signet Armolite/Essilor and Pearle Vision. As Executive Vice President of Business Development, Jeff will focus on expanding business relations with Managed Vision Care in US and developing PFO’s product and technology portfolio with global customers.
